08:28 pm - DESIGNER LATEX, corsets and more- negotiable prices!

I’m having a massively-overdue spring clean and so am selling as much stuff as possible to make room for… more stuff. ;)

Prices are all negotiable- let me know where you’re based and I’ll find out P+P for you. I’ve tried to be as accurate as possible but if you want any more info, just ask.

So…

LATEX

What: Cherry red underbust corset, garter belt, thong, cream stockings with cherry red tops- all by Fraulein Ehrhardt. Cherry red/cream choker- not sure but it looks like Lickorish Latex.
Size: Corset measures 22″ closed (but latex stretches so could fit slightly larger) all other garments are a M so should fit roughly UK size 10

How much: Outfit retails for well over £300 but as one stocking has been repaired (hardly noticeable- pic below), I’m asking for £250

What: House of Harlot camouflage applique top/pants
Size: UK 8 (or a curvier size 6)
How much: Was £160. Now £120 due to two missing buckle holes (pic below)

What:
Black/trans tutu with suspenders (Fraulein Ehrhardt), black/trans seamed stockings (Libidex)
Size:
Stockings are Medium (fits UK8 or 10). Tutu has a 25″ waist
How much:
Tutu in perfect condition, stockings have slight discolouration at the toes (from black shoes) s0 £160

05:11 pm - Still no internet...

So I am stealing the one in McDonalds... from my seat in Starbucks. Take that with a flying kick, McDonalds!!!

My website is progressing nicely and I've been shooting for it like crazy- although in a weird way, it's been quite nice not having the internet- I can get on with writing without the distractions of facebook and, erm, livejournal. :oS

Last weekend, the weather was so horrible I went to the Great Yarmouth Sealife centre with Tom- massive huge sharks, green turtles (well, one green turtle) and penguins! Tom wanted to take them home and keep them in the bath. :)

I have some exciting news: I'm going to Spain next Saturday for a week of art-nude photoshoots! Three photographers, three models and the sun (hopefully- I'm sick of the drizzly rain here!)
I'm saving some photos for my web launch but here are a couple from a recent shoot with Gregory Miles Brown (who is also coming to Spain)  :o)

Under the cut... )

See you!

11:44 am - Faeries and fashion shows and doors in walls
Hey there,

I've just moved house :) Sadly, I have no internet at the moment so am using the library and various other people's connections. Just thought I'd update- it's a nice flat, with big rooms and a kitchen big enough for my housemate and me to cook in at once. Hoorah!

I've also got a new picture back from LA-

MUA/hair by me
Styling by Donny Corsentino

Who's going to TG?? I'm modelling for Kaori's Latex Dreams- my first fashion show this year! Feels like I haven't been on stage in ages. I'm also covering the event for the Fetishistas :)

And I've got another writing project in progress- won't say details yet but here's a teeny weeny 100-word story:
(c) Roswell Ivory

Opportunity Knocks

Ellie watched the door from her window. It was painted on the rather ugly grey wall outside.
“Graffiti”, said the council- “paint over it.” But no-one ever did, for sometimes the door opened- and people entered. They returned later- some tanned, some tattooed. Some holding photographs, certificates. Some holding hands.

Ellie tried the door every day. It stayed mysterious, colourful… and shut. Frustrated, she kicked it, apologising straight away. On Saturday, she went shopping. Leaving designer bags on their pegs, she returned with paint and spare change.
That night, Ellie painted her own door on the wall.

This one opened.

See you!

03:40 pm - Mysterious ill.
I nearly blacked out on Thursday and have been having dizzy/ligtheaded/feeling-drunk-without-the-alcohol spells on and off ever since. I went to the walk-in centre and my ears are fine, my blood pressure is fine and I passed the tests for serious stuff, however I STILL FEEL "WRONG"!!!
And now the left side of my face has gone numb.

Has anyone ever had anything similar?? I feel like such a hypochondriac but something really isn't right :(

06:44 pm - Eccentric!
(Belated) Happy New Year- wow, has it really been that long?? I’ve been busy.

I took a month off modelling so I could concentrate on writing and book shoots for later in the year. February is looking busy already!

Last year, I became the face of Eclectic Eccentricity- a vintage-inspired jewellery brand (so far featured in various fashion magazines and recently exhibited at the Clothes Show in Birmingham). Now that the look-book has gone live, I can show you some of the photos from the shoot!

Photographer: Charlotte Rutherford
MUA/Hair: Sam Chapman

Roswell does vintage: MORE under here! )

If you want to see more, (and do- seriously, the jewellery is gorgeous!) go to the website: http://www.eclecticeccentricity.typepad.com/

I’ll be walking in the German Fetish Ball fashion show for HMSlatex- I don’t know a single (polite) word of German so am hoping to learn some before going! Has anyone been before? Any highly-recommended hotels?

Sorry for the short post- I’m procrastinating when I should be doing other stuff!

P.S. I did join the formspring bandwagon but due to the site constantly encountering problems, it has been disappointing. When my new site goes live later this year, you can ask me questions there if you feel a pressing need! :o)

P.P.S. My status is grumpy because it's been one of those days. I've had my first *ever* "bad photographer" encounter (NOT the lovely lady who took the above photos) and I can't fight it out of my head because I've lost my karate belt. *grumpy grump grump*

07:28 pm - Proud
Hey there!!

I've been hiding in Starbucks for the past month. (By the window, with chai, opposite Accessorize for all you Norwich people).

This is because I decided to do NaNoWriMo* this year (last year was depression-central and I didn't bother). The target is to write 50,000 words in a month.
*If you see me on a regular basis, you're probably sick of hearing the word. Sorry :oP

Well......

I DID IT!!!

I've now written about a third of my novel (it's about post-apocalptic mutated faeries.) It still has no title though- which is annoying me. If I don't chicken out again, I'll post a bit.

I've also been doing some interesting photoshoots, though I can't post many pictures as they are for my upcoming website. Here's an outtake though and I thought it looked suitably celebratory (and has no hint of what the shoot was actually for!)
*Still waiting for more LA photos

I'm now going to make some food and curl up with a film. :o)

10:26 am - Procrastination, photo and stuff

Hello!

I have a new photo under the cut!

Post-apocalyptic yummy clothes-ness! )

It's by DearestGrudge, from LA and the jacket is by Mother Of London, who is amazing. I did my own hair and make-up and was rather pleased!

I also have the headline article for this month's Fetishistas! I was really excited as I've never made the main article before- it's about HMSlatex. Read it here: http://www.thefetishistas.com
I'm writing about five articles at once right now- stuff about Hollywood Glamour, Feminism and GodsGirls coming soon...

Went to Torture Garden and made a new friend: he's called Marmalade and he was shedding his skin (the snake, not the guy!) I was a bit worried about him (loud music, lots of people) but he seemed perfectly happy. I'd love a snake, but I don't like the idea of having one pet that could eat the other (I also have a cat.)

Anyway, just thought I'd write a small update. :)

I also have my kidney scan on Friday and am taking part in NaNoWriMo (national novel writing month) so wish me luck!!

02:19 am - What I got up to in France... (and medical stuff)

After America, I went straight to France to model for HMSlatex at the Bal Des Supplices in Lyon. Managed to get there without making a prat of myself, and brushing up on my French :)
Shared a room with Helene Atsuko, who rocks and later became my partner in pain-au-chocolat crime (!)

We spent most of the afternoon looking for shops (unsuccessfully) and rehearsing, then did the show for the new Arabia range in the evening-
Yummy pink dress. Was living in terror of a boob-related mishap but they behaved.

The girls (and organiser).

They gave out free candyfloss at the club!!! Apparently it's called Father's Beard in French (Babba Pappas).

We ended up leaving quite early (about 3am) to get some sleep before the Eurostar the next day. When Helene and I went for breakfast, we realised that it was *not* free with the room, as we had thought. So we stuffed ourselves to the point of bursting and committed food crime by packing ourselves "some snacks for the journey home". It was a rather large supply. *cough*

Anyway, we got given T-shirts which were very welcome as I'd been living out of a suitcase for a while and was *desperate* for a shower.
Got funny looks on the train home.
Realised T-shirt saying "fetish-tool" was worrying the people on the train, which had come from Disneyland.
Was sleepy. Didn't care.
The Eurostar is comfy. :o)

I'm home for a while now and got some good news. I've been fighting for a proper scan of my kidneys as they've been doing silly things for years and no-one knows why. (Seriously, I've been prescribed antibiotics to the extent where I've built up an immunity to some types and given more samples than I like to remember. I'm sure you wanted to know that.)
Well,  I FINALLY have an appointment next month.
Yes It's an ultrasound, but no I'm not pregnant. (Amazing how many people thought I was after reading my ultrasound-related facebook status, lol!!!) Soooo not happening!

I treated myself:

08:41 pm - So I ran away to Hollywood... (pic heavy)

*insert "The Great Escape" theme here*

Yes, I went to Los Angeles with a brief stop in Texas on the way. Within a few hours of the plane landing in Texas, I did a photoshoot with a lovely lady- "Heather Sterling" and here's a photo. I look a little less jet-lagged than I felt and I felt a little less confused than I look.

(More about Texas at a later date).

I then left for Los Angeles, met Tom at the airport and had several photoshoots (more about these later. One photo at the bottom, more to come). Had a fantastic time staying with Tom's aunt and her family (they were lovely) in their house in Malibu- which had lizards and hummingbirds in the garden (and a rattlesnake that I never saw, sadly).

The long version )
We then made the five-hour trip to see some trees, a log and a rock. (aka Sequoia National Park).

It was hard to get my mind around the fact that everything around me was older than Jesus.

The long version )

Then we went to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. Oh holy crap.

The long version )</div>________________________________________________

It was a bit disconcerting arriving home in the middle of autumn but I liked it in a strange way. (It was sunny) One day of rest and then onto the Eurostar.

Here's a photo by Kook (from LA). Make-up by me.

Next entry: "What I got up to in France!"
